HOTEL VILLA ALTA, Oaxaca – A Smart Stay in the City

My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. The location was ideal, close to a big market area and the zocalo, making it easy to explore Oaxaca on foot. The rooms, while nicely decorated and quiet, had thin walls that made it impossible to escape the noise of barking dogs and car alarms. The service, however, was exceptional with very friendly and helpful staff. Despite the lack of a formal dining experience, the hotel did offer toasted bread. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
